I use Amsoil P.I. additive (no affiliation). After an initial 6 oz. dose in the first tankful, and 2 oz. per tankfull after several uses, it smoothed out the idle in my 528e. In my 735, it doesn't seem to make it any smoother but does improve mileage about 1/2 to 1 mpg.
