I have a bad groaning sound in the morning when steering my car. As soon as you turn the wheel, it starts, but goes away after driving for 15-20 min. I have changed the power steering fluid and filter - which helped, but the groaning noise has come back every time I turn the wheel until it is warmed up. Is the pump going bad? Any suggestions?
Thanks alot
Johnny

if you are lucky, the belt may be loose, glazed, or soaked in fluid. try tightening it. if that doesnt work , replace it.start with the cheap easy stuff 1st.
