Hi. I searched this board and could not find any suggestions for removal of *dried* pine sap from a BMW car. The car in question is an '88 528e, and I don't want to damage the clearcoat/paint. Thanks.

use warm soapy water (or even hot water.if its been on there for a while soak a rag and leave it sit on there.if that doesnt work you can try a degereaser.something like fantastik. if that doesnt work you might have to carefully pick it off with your fingernail.
