Hey Scott
If the tranny has a lot of miles I would just change the fluid with a couple of seperate changes.Sometimes these tranny with a lot of miles are just holding by a thread and the varinsh and sluge that will broken loose by the filter change and fluid will bring the end.(2000$)I know.
Good luck,
Gene
I will be changing my ATF for the first time and in need of some advice. According to Bentley's the strainer is held in place wiht three Torx bolt. Does anyone know what size Torx? What do you use to clean the strainer and sump? Previous owner changed ATF about 5 years ago, he think? If anyone can give me some pointer I would appreciate it. Thanks.
