I just completed this job this weekend. It's not an overly complicated job, it can just be sort of involving. If you have the Bentleys just follow those instructions. The hard part is removing the ball joints from the steering arm. I started by spraying the joints with pb blaster. I lucked up a little. On my drivers side the control arm came off almost by its self, one hit with a fork. The thrust arm was almost as easy, maybe 5 whacks with the fork. Passenger side control arm was all together a different story. First I tried using the fork. No luck. Then I tried using a fulcom(sp) ball joint separater. No luck. Next came a propane torch to the joint followed by the fork. No luck. I then used the separater and torch at the same time. No luck. Next I went with the torch, separater, and 2lb hammer on the separater. It took about 15 hits with the hammer but that did the trick. As a bonus since I was using a jack under the steering arm for support it also poped the thrust arm out from the arm. I guess it too was'nt on super tight, or else all the heat and vibration loosened it up. That one joint alone took about 1 hour.
If you have any questions feel free to ask as this is very fresh in my head.

Marc
