I just got myself a 1986 535i. I traded in my second car, a 1991 rusted Honda Accord + $2000. What I got was a beautiful freshly painted luxurious rocket! It came with winter tires on BMW rims, 16x7.5 Racing Dynamics mags and tires, a performance chip, new muffler, a racing Dynamics wing, tinted windows, leather heated seats, fully loaded...I think I paid $5500 total (Honda worth $3500). The engine runs sweet with 200,000 kilometers (120,000 miles). Reserve some money for fancy ad-ons and hidden repairs. They are super fun cars...now all I need is a front skirt with fogs and lowered springs...keep us posted.
