You should replace it every 2 years or about 30k miles. The Bentley has this in the Inspection I/II lists, I believe. If you use cheap gas all the time, replace it religiously. If you use expensive fuel from a better station, their filters are probably pretty good, so you don't have to worry about it as much. Still, replace it if you think it hasn't been done in the last 30k miles. You may need new hose clamps and a couple feet of 8mm fuel injection hose (300psi), just in case yours is dry-rotting. If this hose pops, it will dump fuel all over your exhaust. 160k miles is about time to start looking at fuel hoses, brake hoses, radiator hoses, and all other high-stress rubber parts.
