Shocks make all the difference. If you have really stiff shocks and soft sprigs, the suspension will be really harsh, but if you have really soft shocks and stiff springs you will be bouncing around like you have no shocks. If you put in Koni Reds with stock springs, you can stiffen up the suspension to the point where transitional body roll will be significantly reduced. You can also soften them up to the point at where you will feel like you are riding in an old Lincoln. Shocks make the biggest difference. If you use HDs and then go to Sports you will notice a difference. But you will not notice a very large difference. Try using Konis and changing the valving and you will see how much shocks really do. I put in Koni Yellows in my 5 and I was able to use the shocks to dial out all of the understeering characteristics that the car comes with. Drive the car hard and then change the shocks and tell me if you don't feel a difference.
