The stiffer springs don't do near as much as the sway bars will. If you're looking for roll reduction, sway bars is what you want. My M5 with the sports, H&R sports and of course 25.18 sway bars handles very well, and has impressed SCCA autocross instructors. Of course the "BMW Rush" didn't hurt ;-)

At some point you may hit a big bump, bottom the suspension, and blow out a shock. That's a risk you take and perhaps to a degree you can control. You know the reasoning, so you make your own decisions.
