Think about it- if it's just the look you want, then just get the look, and keep the smooth ride. No one has to know that your car actually rides and handles decently- that can be your secret.
Chromewall tires install like regular tires. The chrome looks like part of your rim. Available with various patterns to match popular rim styles. Doesn't withstand close scrutiny, but that's OK. Nobody who sees these things from a distance will get any closer.
If you've got a little more cash on hand, Rim Toupees offer help for the diametrically challenged wheels you're currently running. The Rim Toupee is a disc the size of the rims you wish you had. Clips right on. Makes rims look 1", 2", 4" bigger, or even more. Withstands closer inspection than the chromewalls.
Can't find any of this cool stuff? Are you too cheap or sensible to spend money on it? Try aluminum foil and a black magic marker. Post pics when you're done- this I've gotta see.
