It's possible and done all the time.You need the pedal cluster assembly,master & slave cyl.,trans,driveshaft.flywheel,new clutch assembly,and a few more items. I'm about to do it to my "new" '87 535isA.

I have most of what you need to do the swap,including the 3.25LSD differential you want.

BUT...are you sure this is what you want?Just the differential swap alone,which you should be able to manage on your own with a good Bentley's as a guide, will add a large difference in usable power to the car,and at far less cost and trouble.
I have two in stock,at $300 and $350 each for the 3.25LSD diff. alone.

Yuor choice.....
