Lift up the black rubber grommet around the neck of the fuel tank. Underneath you will find 3 small hoses that are the to and from hoses to the overfill reservoir. These hoses are your culprit. Yuo will find that these hoses run from the neck of the fuel tank to the reservoir on top of theright rear shock tower inside your trunk. Replace them, and you will be on your way to a fuel smell free car!

When I open my garage (it's a free standing structure away from my house) it really smells of gasoline. It seems the smell is more evident inside in my trunk area. Checked archives but couldn't find any pinpoint clues so far.
