I had a friend who had 160k on it. It ran like shit, but it ran. Definanly not as good as a bimmer. :)

Hate to be the bringer of bad news, and I hope I'm wrong, but a friend of mine owned one of those, and she was told by several mechanics taht 90k is about the average life expectancy of those cars. Buy a bimmer (E28?) you'll be much happier.

HELP

MY car is stalling, it has 90,000 miles and back in august was given a tuneup. when we come to a stop the rmps drop and the car starts to shake and then dies, we have to put the car in neutral to get it going again.. the engine service light does not come on during the actual driving, however it does come on when the car stalls out
what the heck is going on, has my reliable car become possessed?
