The stock 528e suspension is a little softer than the M30 engined versions, but when tight, the car should handle quite well.

Before substituting parts, start by making sure everything in the car IS tight. All joints, bushings should have zero play.

Installing stiffer springs, sway bars and urethane bushings will help the handling, but as I mentioned the basic car should do pretty well as is-unless there are worn parts.

I have a '88 528e That needs some improvement in the handling department as it feels like I'm driving an old mattress. Are 535is springs shorter and stiffer than my 528e springs? Are the sway bars bigger and if so, what size are they? If the items in question are bigger and better, does anyone have any for sale? Thanks...
