After parking yesterday I tried to start my car 15 minutes later and it would start but only run for about 1-2 seconds and then die. Repeated attempts shortened the running time. Is this possibly a fuel electrical relay or fuel pump problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I'm currently chasing a similar problem on my 86 735. Went out one morning and it wouldn't start, seemed to be too rich. I've replaced the plugs, rotor and cap, and checked the fuel pump and pressure by swapping regulators with my 535, checked all the injectors. No joy. I'm down to the O2 sensor and will let you know what happens.
