car starts quick, then cuts off, then.... (archive)

when I turn the ignition again, starts and stays fine. This happens only on really cold mornings. Car is 86 535. It seems the idle is too fast on initial start. What do you think? Thermotime switch? Cold start? Temperature sensor? Relays? Thank you.
