A useful bit of info: a regular 9V alkaline battery has enough power to run the motor for testing purposes. Stick a paper clip in the female connector, and bend the paper clip so the 9V battery can touch both the male connector and the paper clip. If the motor works, it's time to check the wiring in the car.
If you have a voltmeter, check the voltage at each blower motor wire with respect to ground (not with respect to the other wire) with the ignition on. (Don't let the wires touch the chassis or each other!) 12V should show up on one of the wires (the blue one, I think), even if you aren't using the blower. If not, and fuse 14 is OK, your A/C switch is probably bad. The A/C switch can be removed without dismantling the dashboard.
If you get 12V at one of the blower wires, the problem is probably the fan switch.
Heater blower went kaput the day of the biggest snowstorm in Philly in two years. Replaced all relevant fuses to be sure. Nada. Pulled the blower motor. No juice. Where do I start checking? I have a Bentley manual, but I'm not great at reading those electrical diagrams. Any ideas would be appreciated.
