Well, thanks to all the experts at this site I resolved a cold start problem I was having with my '83 528e. It was a bad thermotime switch which was reading about 250 ohms on either terminal W or G. This was preventing the cold start injector from spraying during a cold start. Using the Bentley manual,a fuel pressure gauge, an a digital VOM meter I was able to point to a bad switch. So for $45 and a few hours of my labor, I know I saved a lot of money plus I now know my fuel injection system inside and out. Thanks guys and gals for your contributions.
