thanks,
Mark is right;
Most 535's that are driven hard enough to pull out one of the idiot tabs BMW designed,instead of bolts on both sides,needs to reinforce all four inner swaybar brackets for a start.Next,add a reinfocing piece up under the rear shock towers as well.We used to use old VW generator pulleys,almost the perfect size,cupped to fit under the towers,and already had a hole you can modify to put the shock piston thru,BEFORE one of the rear shock pistons comes to visit your luggage some day under hard cornering. Ask me how I know...
If you've also added the 3.73lsd diff ratio,expect to possibly burn out the front brakes with an "is" airdam,unless you add the 7 series brakes or run cooling ducts and remove the front backing plates for airflow on large tracks.
I melted new MetalMaster pads off the front brake pad plates the second morning at Watkins Glen, until I used the 7 series system w/gas-slotted rotors back in '89.I'm a teeny bit agressive you could say.
