I had a 980 320i and despite being lacklustre in performacnce (compared to my 2002)it ran phenomenally well, and I got teriffic gas milage. All of my repairs were minor so I can't advise on the fuel distributor. If you are looking for an agile, but underpowered daily driver, this could be it, but expect to shell out cash to get it up to specks, and check for rust very carefully because the bodies are weak around the front shocks..
A 1983 320i BMW is forsale in our neighborhood. the sign sais it is an auto and runs but needs a Fuel Dist. Does anyone know how much that costs and how hard it is to replace. They are asking $500.00. any advice?

Thanks.
