Tool for taking BBS wheels apart (archive)

Posted by marcus on January 09, 2001 at 11:13:15:

Does anyone know what tool (read socket) that is needed to unscrew the small bolts keeps a BBS split wheel together?

The head of the bolt and nut looks a conventional torx nut but has more 'edges' than torx.

I'm taking the wheels apart to sandblast / powdercoat them.

TIA
