Just did this on my 5 series. You are going to need hubcentric adaptors on the front (at least). They need to be 30mm (0ver 1 inch). You can buy them, but they are expensive... well over $100 per pair, plus you need additional lug bolts, or longer bolts. If you put adaptors on all four wheels, you will spend $400 plus on this. The offset on the 3 series wheels is much greater than all the other BMW wheels. I did it because I bought my wheels and new studded snows for $225.
