The guy who does the 'serious' stuff on my E28 said the urethane bushings are too stiff and transmit too much vibration to the chassis. Also, that by replacing 1 set of bushings in the suspension matrix w/ urethane, the difference in "give" will force all the other non-urethane bushings to fail. So, he used the modified 740 or 750il bushings instead.

Just curious to hear what you guys thought of that opinion. Still don't know enough myself to have an opinion yet!

I had the 750i bushings insatlled about two months ago and the car brakes and rides smooth.
Don't go with urethane, good but will squeak.

Will be going through my front end soon.
Wanted opinions on urethane versus modified OEM (750il) bushings. Just don't want it squeaking or too much road noise coming back into the car.

Please.... actual experiece with products preferred.
