I paid about 3k last summer for an '87 and
spent 1,500 on tires, clutch, belt, waterpump, new leather front seat panels....etc. but i started out with a good paint and body and original owner at 195k miles. I live in Houston area and i found the ad in the Houston Chronicle. People do
look for older BMW's in decent shape. You also
might post it on the mb classifieds.
My college age son is in need of selling his 1986 model 528e. The vehicle has approximately 160,000 miles on the odometer and it runs great. Dad has been using the car for the last 4 months as a primary work car.
Need to sell as it has been replaced with the purchase of a newer model 325is.

Located in the Houston, Texas area.

I would like to get $2,750 for the car. Any comments on my suggested sale price?

Any recent experience selling this age BMW and the likelyhood I will have any inquiries?
