I recently purchased a 1987 535is Hartge. It was low in the rear, Eibachs/Bilstien ... the shocks are correct for the car. I ended up making 4 10mm spacers. Put one on each side (10mm of spacing) and that did the trick. measures 12.4 inches now (center of hub to fender lip). Hope that helps.
