Hi Mark,

If you feel like getting dirty one day, go to Pep Boys and get yourself some Parts cleaner, castrol degreaser (comes in a spray bottle), a small toothbrush sized wire brush, and some JB Weld. Go out and jack up your car on stands. Clean up the area real good with all your chemicals, wire brush and some rags. It should be spotless. Then mix up some JB weld and apply a bead of it to the seam about 1/8 thick. If you do it right, and the pan is not unduly stressed in the future, it should hold forever.
