I bought 15" wheels from early 90's 540 or 740? (The seller wasn't sure) for my 86 535.

The wheels came with 225/60/15 Michelin MXV4+ tires with about 50% tread left. Would have preferred 205/65/15 but I got them cheap. I had to roll the rear fenders but definitelyy worth it. They are the best tires I have ever had. Very good dry, wet and in snow which surprise me but luckily have a limited slip diff.

I think there close to $160 a piece but cheaper than TRXs. Most will agree that any new tire design is superior to the dated TRX tire.

Good Luck
