I've heard a lot about this topic on this board

What are the benefits of shorting the bumper? Wouldn�t the fluid that is in the shocks help prevent damage to the car? I would think the bumper system would be best left alone. If it is simply for looks, have fun� but I was just wondering if there were any other benefits for doing the deed.
