Paul, an underbonnet on an e28? Was this a euro only package? In the us, you can peer down beyond the headers to see the drag link and beyond that, well...the road! Could you elaborate on this underbonnet?

Figuring the wind coming through the engine compartment would be intensified, I removed the plastic cover behind my right side headlights.
