Hello to any&everyone!
Need help/assistance. When cold my BMW (84 528e) takes a while to turn over (and i mean a while). It's basically okay once warmed up. Do i need new plugs and wires? I've only owned her for 3 months, so i don't know all her details. Secondly, she idles really rough well below the 1000x when stopped ..any suggestions?!
thanx in advance

at that age adjustments might be necessary. cold start system check points. 1) cold start injector(squirts small amount of fuel into intake manifold. 2)thermal time switch (on thermostat housing area (tells c/s injector when to open and when to stay closed). 3) throttle plate stop screw (idle adjustment only). 4)idle control valve(automaticaly adjust engine idle rpm when it is functionin properly) had to tweak all of the above in my 82 528e. purs like a kitten now (219,160 mi when purchased last month. write for more cool tweaks if you are to.
