THis is a completely false statement. PLEASE DON'T PAY ATTENTION TO THIS STATEMENT. The crank pulley does not come off at 6500rpm. In fact it is just fine. I have a Dinan chip in my car with a rev limit of 6600RPM and I have banged the car off of the rev limiter plenty of times. The crank pulley has gone no where and will go no where. This is not a problem on this car. Also if you are doing the mods that you want to do, like a lightened flywheel, chip, 282 cam and such, then I would wonder why you are removing the crank hub in the first place. Non of these mods require removal of the crank hub.
You might be confusing the M5 crank hub problem with an M30 crank hub. The crank hubs, while they look the same are different and the M30 does not have the crank hub problem of the M5 unless you start to rev it really fast, for example 7000. If you are worried, lighten the harmonic balancer and you will never have problems with the hub.
