Good Job Scottie! Did any of the Bay Area guys come over? I wanted to but had plans so hopefully the next time.

Jay
I did it! I replaced the upper and lower control arms, center link, drag link, and tie rods today. It took me about 4 hrs and there were no major hitches. The only tool I had to run out to get was a 48oz. hammer. My hammer was just too puny to budge those big ball joint studs. If anyone has any questions, I'd be happy to answer while the job is still fresh in my memory!

I still need to get the toe in aligned, but the quality of driving is much better. I only took it around the block and I noticed that the front end is much tighter, doesn't "rattle" and feel loose going over railroad tracks, and there is no center steering play like I had before. You should have seen my steering ball joints. They were SHOT!

Scottie
