....you may consider a couple of items. First, you may want to replace them one at a time(no brainer) but more importantly second....the head gasket may start to leak as the head to block 'mate' has been compromised. I tried with no success to replace the bolts one at a time too and promptly received a head gasket oil leak at the front of the motor. You certainly don't have anything to lose but keep an eye on it for other reasons as well. wishing you luck...
Getting ready to do these required tasks this week. Changing water pump, tensioner, head bolts, valve adjust etc. Don't know yet if it's a 2 piece crank hub but I'm prepared if it is. I'm wondering about the seals - crank and cam - any head's up on these? Also - I'm thinking of getting an engine flush just before this maintenance and just draining the cheap oil and tossing the filter when I get home to take it down. Is there any merit to this train of thought?
