try starting my 520i again today no joy,my friend thinks its not starting because of the ignition i put the key in and when you turn it to fire up nothing but on the ignition barrel shouldn't the key spring back from the start up position back to the no2 position?because mine doesn't even when i had it running you could pull the key out and the engine would still be running any suggestions what the fault could be?

thanks
