As the result of a marriage separation i needed a cheap, reliable run around to carry me and the kids. My boss owns an M5 and tried talking me into buying an 83 528i that a mate of his was selling. I had heard all the jokes about BMW's (hitlers revenge etc) so I was wary. After taking it for a test drive I was hooked. I drive new models as part of my job but I still prefer getting in the bimmer, it's just a bloody good car to drive. By the way the boss took me for a spin in his M5, 180kph in third gear Helllloooo!!!
