If the rest of the engine is still tight, you could find a reconditioned head, or you could purchase a brand new head of Spanish manufacture for about $900 complete (with valves already installed).
Before you turn up your nose on the Spanish head, they are reputed to have improved the original casting so it is much less prone to cracking than the OEM head.
A used head should be available for $100-300 or so complete, but it would be a good idea to at least lap the valves in and give it s cut to make sure it's true before installing it.
Even if your head is weldable, I would hesitate to go that route since the quality of such repairs varies a lot. If you go with a reconditioned head, make SURE that you specify one with NO welds. The last one we bought had been repaired by welding in 3 different places, and that's just asking for trouble.
