I just went through the same deal except I took the lazy approach to fix it.

I had 15" rins with 225/50 tires on it which lowered it about an inch from stock. My spirited driving must have bottomed out the car on some bakc road cause i developed a nasty leak. Turns out a hairline crack in the oil pan was seaping oil now.

I bough JB Weld for $4 and drained the pan, then prepped the surface and JB Welded the sucker. Left it sit overnight and 10 days later, no leaks yet. Wish me luck
