The support for my driver's seat on my '85 528e has cracked horribly. Recently i found a person parting a e28 and they were gonna give me just the frame. I talked this over with my mechanic and he told me that was a bad idea. Basically, I am now looknig for a driver's seat for a e28 WITHOUT a motor. Cloth interior prefered, but I will be reuphostering it anyway. Thank you.

I have a 533/528e seat,which never had motors,or a motorized 528e/535i seat with no motors left...which do you need??

i spent a coupla hours last night taking the naugahyde skin from a seat back from my 86 grape, and putting it on a frame whose cloth had worn out.time was spentnot breaking stuff. im satisfied with the result.i combined parts from 2 broken seats to make 1 functional seat. R/A Bob, are the frames the same for the power seat and the non-power? is it possible to motorize a non-power seat?
