You have asked the loony ben if you should pick up such a BMW find…..
- An alternator cost $250
- A radiator cost $250
- A radio cost $250
- A set of wheels costs $250

Let me talk to your wife for a second…. Look this BMW thing is an addiction, I know it’s hard to understand, and you know with time we will out grow this childish phase in our lives. However, let’s look at the practical side of this car.
If you let Marc get this car (after all it’s only a couple of hundred qiud) he will be confused. Confused about which BMW to devote his time to… the 520 that runs or the 520 that needs to run. He will sit in the drive for a few weeks playing with the new toy. Soon he will start to choose between the two… then he’ll start to think about the MOT test. Finally he’ll begin to pull the best parts off one to make the other run better. After all these BMW owners are all the same… if it isn’t perfect… well you know first hand.
Then you have him…. You can say "get your finger out", "give it some wellie", because he will be at a disadvantage! The neighbors will begin to wind him up about the half naked car in the way! Now this BMW thing, his addiction, is work… ah ha, you got him!
Soon he will be saying bugger this for a game of soldiers! It’s over… all for 200 quid… it’s a bargin!
