O.K. all you E28ers: Let's hear what you would do, if you were limited to a $2,000 parts budget, to increase the performance of your 535 (don't factor labor). Let's assume it's bone stock (TRX 390's and all!) and mechanically perfect. Include manufacturers' names.

I have an excellent system for e28 535i's.Here's a start....
Start with a chip(6500rpm or higher),gearing change,and proper size wheels/tires to your driving style.Of course I have all of this (chip-$175///diff-$300/400///wheels& tires $ 500/800 used)....add 7series front brakes($500/700) and you have a whole different car.Ask me how I know........
