Just a Wild Ass Guess on your O/D prob. Some automatic transmissions operate on a more positive mechanical lockup for O/D, slightly higher geared for economy. If the shift point is too low, perhaps the shake you get is the engine lugging, just as if on a standard transmission if you shift too soon before the shift point. Does it feel like that? If you control the shift to O/D manually and shift it at slightly higher speeds,does it still do it?
