Your 528e came with 6" wide wheels. While 6.5" would be better for the 205/60, they will work. Keep in mind that they are smaller diameter overall, and the effect is your speedometer and odometer will be off. It will also have the effect of lowering your gearing (fewer mph/1000 rpm).

I would like to put 205 60 14 instead of the 195 70 14 on my 84 528e (original rims). Would they fit ok? Also, would they cause any drag with the fenders? Finally,would that improve the handling or effect gas milage?
