Tim et32 is way to negative for the E28. Offset should be in the 15-20mm range. I just removed a set of 16x7.5 et 13 wheels and had to shave the entire lip off of the rear fender. You are going to need spacers to correct the offset to about 15mm in order for these wheels to fit.
