Hey Mike,

Good to hear from you. Your e28 is definately an e28! Get an amp meter (preferably a digital one) and connect it across the fuse terminals when the motor is off. Of course, you'll need to remove that particular fuse. When you find one that is flowing current, you've narrowed your search. Keep in mind that some devices flow current normally, like the clock, so put the noggin to work. Also, you may want to disconnect your trunk light because thats a common fault in these cars. If it is the trunk light, examine the trunk light switch for maladjustment.
