OK to close it I hold down the button, won't close completely, push it again closed!
To open I have to push the button three times then it works fine, whats the deal?

Simplest solution is to try and switch a good window switch with the sunroof one.Same switch.

If that doesn't do it,.try lubricating the tracks and motor.If it's the cables,they're so expensive and a bitch to adjust and/or change you may want to live with it.
If you don't use the sunroof often,just constant use may cure the problem!.
