Just bought a 1986,,528e at auction and have no fuel output at the pressure regulator. Is this the correct place to test?? I've disconnected the fuel line at the regulator, have a bottle in position to catch the fuel out-put, turned on the key, used a screw driver to make a connection (I've removed the fuse which is in good shape) at the fuel pump fuse position in the master fuse box and nothing happens!!! The poor car was stolen and was missing the idle control module (but not the main modules,,can't believe that!!!)and everything else looks intact,,, Any suggestions?? thks in advance
