Anybody know the correct amount of travel there should be on the TPS before it switches. I currently have mine so it NC/NO as soon as there is any movement off idle at all.
I’m wondering if it had say 1mm of travel before it indicated to the ECU off idle it might be smoother when you go closed throttle and on again at low speed in a high gear.
Normally as the engine is effectively turned off on over run then back on again it might be smoother as it takes up the drive line slack.

when the engine is at idle the butterfly should be shut, when the switch on the tps is closed it sends a signal to the idle control computer, so the switch should be adjusted so when your foot is off the throttle that switch should be closed, your idle control vlv is what maintains the air flow during idle, so if you are haveing problems with coming off idle I would check the idle control vlv. it should be set to 480ma for idle at 750 rpm unless you have an auto trans, then I think it is different.
good luck
