83 528e, best price? (archive)

Hey everyone,

I have an 83 528e that's just not going to make it much longer. I had the engine rebuilt about 4 years ago (resurrected from the dead practically). I drove it cross country and now live in LA where, needless to say, it gets driven a lot. I seem to have to do maintenance about every 3 months - the struts one day, the catalytic converter another day. The engine mechanics are not great but the body is in worse disrepair - missing rubber strip on back bumper, fog lights crushed, broken glove compartment, dashlights don't work, missing door handle in the back. Basically, i want to know to where is the best place to sell it to get the most money. It's nowehere near blue book value condition so i guess it's a sell for parts situation. I'd like to get the most for my money (obviously) so i can get an 89 or 90 525 or 535. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!
