I agree, it is a sad day for motorsports. Hard to phathom that something such as this could happen. I guess we all get disconnected from the real dangers of this sport. Although I was never a huge NASCAR fan, I have a sad feeling in me now from the news.

I had just been at the Rolex 24 there in Daytona and witnessed he and his son and team as they worked hard to keep the corvette team in the running.

Sad day, God be with the family.
