I mean why do I and others feel so bad? He was my favorite driver, he was to NASCAR what Jordan was to the NBA.
Its weird other drivers died this summer (2) and it really had no affect, but this is just horrible!
Like I said above he was not being selfish, he was trying to help his two teams win, but died trying to help, thinking of others than himself!
The greatest is gone, and he should be honored, they should name him after something.... Earnhart Cup Series, Earnhart 500.... he needs to be remembered.

As most of the NASCAR fans on the board have heard by now that Dale Ernhardt has died from an accident in the Daytona 500. Even though I am a Rusty Wallace fan, I am very upset on this tragic accident. We have lost a great driver. I hope that all of you would remember him and his family in your prayers.
